Transparent comparison
Comparison methodology
How we turn label data into comparable signals—and where those signals have limits.
Last updated: September 21, 2026Phase 1 data status
The current catalog contains 156 real product listings observed on iHerb's public US product pages between October 1 and October 7, 2026. Product names, pack sizes, listing prices and product images are cited to the original iHerb URLs and official image CDN. Package-label nutrition values were checked against the corresponding public iHerb product page on October 3, 2026 for 81 products where a readable Nutrition Facts panel was available. The 50 newly added listings remain marked for label check until their exact package panels are reviewed; no missing values are estimated. Regional currency displays are reference conversions from the observed iHerb US listing price, not local quotes; shipping, tax, stock and promotions may differ.
Metrics we compare
Protein per serving, serving weight, calories and sugar are label-led fields. For the current iHerb catalog, these fields show a dash until the exact package label is verified. Protein density and cost per 25g are calculated only when their required inputs are available.
protein density = protein g ÷ serving g × 100cost per 25g = price × 25 ÷ (protein g × servings)Regional estimates
Currency conversions in Phase 1 are illustrative and are not live foreign-exchange quotes. Retailer pricing, promotions, stock, shipping, tax and import charges can vary by destination and change without notice.
Editorial labels
Labels such as “high protein,” “low sugar,” “vegan” or “best value” are comparison aids, not health claims or individualized recommendations. “Vegan” and allergen-related decisions should always be checked against the current package and manufacturer information.
